THE ARCHITECTS
The Potsdam architects Annette Axthelm and Henner Rolvien have designed a hotel building with its own character ‒ individualistic yet stylistically extraordinary. An architectural eye-catcher in the heart of the KPM quarter in Berlin-Charlottenburg. With its conspicuous floor-to-ceiling panorama windows and the box-like oriels, the steel façade radiates three-dimensional vitality. Inside, the high-quality materials in their elegant colour scheme of white, grey, and black captivate one’s glance. Valuable KPM porcelain objects lend the lobby and its 15-metre-long white counter, with directly adjacent restaurant area, a touch of casually elegant urbanity.
THE ROOMS
The 117 rooms in the categories Smart, Superior, Deluxe Balcony/Terrace, Deluxe Lounge and Executive, as well as the 58 serviced apartments (soon to be available), are stylishly designed oases of wellness. Fine woods in warm natural tones, colour-coordinated fabrics, and high-quality bathrooms in natural stone with walk-in showers and LED mirrors convey a feeling of comfortable living.
The beds, which have been highly praised by our guests, the intelligent lighting solutions, and the desks suitable for working make each of our rooms a living experience. Many pieces of furniture are unique and were designed especially for our house: original sofas, unusual, wonderfully cosy armchairs, and functional side tables.
PANTRY-KITCHEN
A real favourite spot are the unique oriel windows on the sides of the rooms in the Deluxe Lounge category. The perfect place to chill out, enjoy the view, and relax. The diverse uses of the furniture quickly turn every room into a personal retreat.
But it’s the many additional amenities that make the difference: the minibar stocked with free non-alcoholic drinks, the coffee capsule machine with exquisite coffee from Nespresso, the individually controllable air conditioning ‒ even a kitchenette that, upon request, can be integrated into a wall module.
