Our first Jazz Dinner on 25 September 2020 could not have been more successful. An evening for all the senses – and of course in compliance with the applicable Corona regulations.
Italian drummer Paolo Elodori and the KPM Jazz Band presented a rapturous programme; the slow samba-canção and Cool Jazz melded into vibrant smooth bossa nova sounds, and swing classics conjured up musical memories ‒ all served up with the gustatory delights of an Asian-inspired gourmet dinner from our restaurant Dong A. Fine cocktails and selected drinks added to the relaxed yet stimulating lounge atmosphere.
The jazz dinner was so well received by our guests that we are offering further dates before the end of this year. Our friendly colleagues at the reception are looking forward to your enquiry.
The KPM Jazz Quartet provided further musical highlights.PROGRAM

DAUERAUSTELLUNG: SKULPTUREN VON MICHAEL FELIX LANGER
As soon as you enter the lobby, you can feel that the KPM Hotel & Residences and the Königliche Porzellan- Manufaktur Berlin are united by the same demand for special aesthetics, the highest level of quality and their own design signature. Individuality paired with an inner bond – the architectural firm Axthelm Rolvien, which was also responsible for the interior design, wanted to see precisely this characteristic realized in the works of art for the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms of the KPM Hotel & Residences. In the artistically outstanding objects by the renowned Berlin sculptor Michael F. Langer, the architects found the harmonious interplay of modern design and the classical concept of art realized in a congenial manner. Years ago, Michael Felix Langer integrated porcelain objects from KPM Berlin into individual design sketches. A beautiful coincidence that seems to anticipate the fruitful collaboration of the KPM Hotel & Residences and Michael F. Langer.
