Sustainability – Our mission statement, our self-image
Sustainability is an integral part of our entrepreneurial activities and expression of our understanding of quality for the KPM Hotel & Residences. Inspired by the values of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin, we combine the highest demands on hospitality with ecological responsibility, economic foresight and social commitment.
Our goal is to run a hotel that not only offers the highest level of comfort, but at the same time makes a responsible contribution to the environment, society and future generations. We see sustainability as a continuous development process. That is why we continuously review and improve our processes and measures to use resources efficiently, reduce energy and emissions, and protect natural livelihoods. We are guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (United Nations) Sustainable Development Goals and rely on transparent, measurable and long-term effective solutions.
Our economic activities are based on sustainable growth, long-term stability and responsible
Investments aligned. We incorporate the interests of our guests, employees, business partners and society alike into our decisions and take a stakeholder-oriented approach. Quality, innovation and economic responsibility form the basis of our entrepreneurial success.
As an employer, we create a working environment that is characterized by appreciation, equal opportunities, diversity and mutual respect. The health, personal development and satisfaction of our employees are essential prerequisites for our joint success. We promote personal responsibility, further education, team spirit and an open corporate culture.
We also understand sustainability towards our guests as a lived hospitality. Through conscious purchasing decisions, regional partnerships, climate-friendly mobility offers, resource-saving operating procedures and the responsible handling of food and materials, we create a stay that combines comfort and sustainability.
Our commitment does not end at the limits of our company. Through social projects, long-term cooperations and non-profit initiatives, we take responsibility for society and make an active contribution to the common good.
