AT KPM HOTEL & RESIDENCES SUSTAINABILITY IS PART OF OUR SELF-IMAGE

In harmony with our self-image as a modern, innovative, and value-oriented company, the themes of sustainability and responsibility were taken into account already during the planning phase of KPM Hotel & Residences, which opened in September 2019. The guiding principle of KPM Hotel & Residences – striving for the “essentials in perfection” – is an expression of this way of thinking, which is based on solidity, quality, and authenticity. Against this background, the high standards of quality at the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin have served us as a role model and obligation.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals formulated by the UN in 2015 have remained an indispensable orientation for us in our efforts to adapt our corporate concept. We emphasize our intention to continuously develop in ecological, economic, and social terms in accordance with sustainability criteria by subjecting our hotel to the internationally recognized process of GreenSign Hotel certification. For us, sustainable business management includes not only environmental issues, but also social and societal aspects. Our commitment to cosmopolitanism, tolerance, participation, and diversity is the basis of our lived concept of hospitality, but it also describes our internal KPM team spirit.
