You can regularly find a selection of his favourite Berlin moments here on the website, in our newsletter and on Instagram.

A mysterious place with panoramic views: Teufelsberg

The sunset alone is worth a visit! The 120-metre-high Teufelsberg in Grunewald owes its existence to the rubble of the post-war period. Today, this historically fascinating place is one of the largest open-air galleries in Europe. The Teufelsberg summer programme offers a variety of events and activities.
Berlin’s museum landscape is magnificent – even for children!

Deep blue water, really good beach fries: Buckow Swimming Lake

Berlin and especially Brandenburg are swimming lake paradises! Buckow Swimming Lake is one of the most beautiful in the city, especially when looking for summer fun for young and old. The boat rental and the highly praised fries add to the holiday atmosphere and good mood.

Berlin’s museum landscape is great – even for children!

Three examples of many are the Technology Museum, the Museum of Communication and the Futurium.
There is plenty for the whole family to discover in each of the museums – fun and entertainment are guaranteed. Interactive exhibitions and breathtaking exhibits as well as well-stocked museum shops and original cafés will save any rainy day.

Peacock Island – a magic destination

It took seven years to restore the fairytale castle on Peacock Island. Since May, this scenic and cultural gem of Berlin in the middle of the Havel River can now be fully visited again. Until October, a ferry crosses the river approximately every 15 minutes. My tip: skip the packed lunch and stop off at the ‘Wirtshaus zur Pfaueninsel’ restaurant.
