HOW DOES DESIGN SHAPE THE HOTEL EXPERIENCE?
On the 9. October 2026 in our Design Suite is all about the influence of design on rooms, atmosphere and the hotel experience.
Together with Jörg Woltmann, entrepreneur and owner of the KPM Hotel, Torsten Thiem from Küchen+ Einrichtung Thiem and Dirk Borchardt from minimum, Stephanie Salziger, Center Manager LIVING BERLIN, talks about the interplay between design, function and comfort – and how good ideas create spaces that are remembered.
Look forward to a varied talk, interesting insights and a stylish evening at Bubbles & Beats at the KPM Hotel.

PERMANENT EXHIBITION: SCULPTURES BY MICHAEL FELIX LANGER
As soon as you enter the lobby, you can feel that the KPM Hotel & Residences and the Königliche Porzellan- Manufaktur Berlin are united by the same demand for special aesthetics, the highest level of quality and their own design signature. Individuality paired with an inner bond – the architectural firm Axthelm Rolvien, which was also responsible for the interior design, wanted to see precisely this characteristic realized in the works of art for the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms of the KPM Hotel & Residences. In the artistically outstanding objects by the renowned Berlin sculptor Michael F. Langer, the architects found the harmonious interplay of modern design and the classical concept of art realized in a congenial manner. Years ago, Michael Felix Langer integrated porcelain objects from KPM Berlin into individual design sketches. A beautiful coincidence that seems to anticipate the fruitful collaboration of the KPM Hotel & Residences and Michael F. Langer.
